My name is Vladimir Svoboda and I am a freelance software developer. I am always looking for fun and challenging projects.

Having developed a new operating system for multi-core embedded platforms from scratch (see Projects), I have a deep understanding of the layers that compose modern systems. I use this expertise to contribute to all the development phases of exciting projects: low-level software/tools/scripts development & testing, architecture-level brainstorms and methodology.

Software development is an art of finding compromises between simplicity, scalability, elegance and organization to meet deadlines. Software is better built in teams. I particularly enjoy working in a team and I strive to improve the synergy between its members. I find it satisfying when team members work naturally and efficiently as described in their Agile methodology.
